Admission Requirements

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun offers admission to study any of the above courses through only UTME (at least for now)

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)  qualifies students to be admitted into 100 level.

Indirect Entry (UTME)

For a student to be considered for admission to undergraduate degree through UTME above, he must have five credit passes from either

• West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
• Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)/(NECO)
• General Certificate Examination (GCE)

The five credit passes must include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and either Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics or Geography or Biology and it must not be at more than two sittings.

The student must pass Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

The student must also pass the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) post UTME examination, making the required Cut-Off Mark for his chosen engineering programme.
