Engineering Courses and Entry Requirements Federal Polytechnic, Nekede

Federal Polytechnic, Nekede is among the Polytechnics in Nigeria with largest selection of engineering courses. Presently, the school parade eight engineering technology courses and all of them fully approved by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in Nigeria.

• Agricultural and Bio Environmental Technology
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Computer Engineering

Entry Requirements to National Diploma

Five credit passes in: WASSCE, GCE or SSCE
The five (5) credit passes must include:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• English Language and 
• One other science subjects (Biology or Agriculture Science) or technical subject (Technical Drawing)

The five (5) credit passes must not be more than two (2) sittings.

UTME/JAMB

A pass in JAMB conducted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is required.

UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, English Language and  Chemistry or Biology, Agricultural Science (Agricultural Engineering)

Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Post UTME

Post UTME subjects: same as above.

Students must make the required Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post UTME cut off mark.
