Google Donated Digital Library Commissioned at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos

The Governing Council Chairman, Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, recently commissioned a state of the art digital library donated by Google to the College.

A publication by the management of the Yaba College of Technology stated that  the digital library was donated by the world biggest search engine company to create digital activities awareness among the staff and the students of the institution and to help them in the area of research programmes.

For the take off of the digital library, a total number of 100 pieces of Computer Systems were donated by Google and they will be managed and powered by GTCO Calscan Consultant an information and communication technology company that specialises in designing installation, maintainance, testing and developing software solution for banking industry, higher institution  of learning, private companies, government parastatal and multinational.

A statement from the publication reveal that the digital library is located within the library premises of the college.
