Benue State Polytechnic Art Courses OND and HND Entry Requirements

These following Art Courses are available at Benue State Polytechnic at ND and HND degree level. Eplain with them is the entry requirements for the ND, a programme which usually lasted a duration of two years for a full time course,

Business and Management Studies

• Business Administration and Management
• Marketing
• Banking and Finance
• Office Technology and Management
• Hospital Management

Information Technology (ICT)

• Mass Communication
• Library and Information Science

Art, Design and Printing

• Fine Art
• Industrial Design
• Printing Technology

Administrative Studies

• Legal Studies
• Local Government and Community Development
• Public Administration
• Public Accounting/Auditing

Entry Requirements (OND)

All the above mentioned courses have same entry requirements. Except on some special occasions.

To be eligible for admission to study one of the courses, a student must show an evidence of completing senior secondary school by presenting credit passes in at least five subjects at one or two of the following examinations:

• West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
• NECO conducted Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or 
• General Certificate of Examination (GCE)
• National Business Certificate (NBC)

The Subjects must include:

• Mthematics (Compulsory)
• English Language (Compulsory) and
• Literature in English
• Government
• Economics/Commerce
• Yoruba/ Igbo
• Home Economics/ Food and Nutrition
• Civic Education
• History

The student must make the UTME cut off mark.

UTME Subjects

• English Language (compulsory)
• Economics
• Government or 
• Yoruba or 
• Literature in English or
• Civic Education or
• Mathematics or
• Commerce

The student must also pass and make the required cut off mark for Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo post UTME examination.
