- Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering (OND and HND)
- Mining Engineering Technology (OND and HND)
- Metallurgical Engineering Technology (OND and HND)
- Mechanical Engineering Technology (OND and HND)
- Electrical Engineering Technology (OND). HND options are Power and Machine Electronics and Telecommunications.
- Civil Engineering Technology (OND and HND)
- Agricultural and Bio Environmental Engineering (OND). HND options are Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water Engineering and Post Harvest Engineering.
- Welding and Fabrication
Duration of Study
OND: 2 years
HND: 2 years
There is a compulsory 1 year industrial attachment in between.
Entry Requirements (OND)
All the above mentioned courses have same entry requirements.
To be eligible for admission to study one of these courses, a student must show an evidence of completing senior secondary school by presenting credit passes in at least five subjects at one or two of the following examinations:
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- NECO conducted Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or
- General Certificate of Examination (GCE)
- Mthematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry or
- Technical Drawing or
- Further Mathematical or
- Technical and Vocational Training Subjects or
- Geography or
- Data Processing
The student must make the UTME cut off mark.
UTME Subjects
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physic and
- Chemistry
The student must also pass and make the required cut off mark for Kwara State Polytechnic post UTME examination.
