Best Solution Polytechnic Accreditation, Courses Entry Requirements

Right now in Ondo State, there are four polytechnics, two of which are private owned. 

Best Solution Polytechnic form the second of the two of the private polytechnics in the state and it has been around for a while, having been established in 2014 by Dr. Michael Abiodun, a renowned academic and philanthropist.

The polytechnic is founded with aim to train students to becoming highly skill technologist who are able to proffer solution to myriad of technological problems facing the country and able to stand on their own.


Accreditation Status

Best Solution Polytechnic is registered in Nigeria by the Federal Ministry of Education back in 2014. See below the FME officials website for the name of Best Solution Polytechnic among the registered polytechnics in Nigeria.


Best Solution is also accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Nigeria. See the details below:

The accreditation is granted since 2016.

This means:

If a student graduate from the school, he is eligible to participate in the recommended one (1) years NYSC programme.

A student can apply to further education at other higher institutions of learning in Nigeria or abroad using a qualifications from the school.

A graduate of the school can get a desire job in Nigeria or elsewhere using a qualification from the school.

Entry Requirements for All Course

To study any of the above mentioned courses at Eastern Polytechnic, Port Harcourt, Rivers State an applicant must have:

Minimum of credit passes in five subjects relevant to his chosen course.

The five credit must not be at more than two sittings from one or two of the: 
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
  • Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or
  • National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB)

An applicant must also sit for JAMB coordinated Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) making the cut off mark.

Each of the courses lasted a duration of two (2) years at National Diploma and at Higher National Diploma level.
