This qualifications are usually taken at age 16, and therefore, students holding only these credentials typically need to complete a foundation year or another preparatory programme, as specified by their chosen institution
Qualifications and Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering, UK
Advanced Level (A-Level):
This remains the most reliabe qualification for entry into a Mechanical Engineering, bachelor's degree programme. An A-Level profile as low as BCC can secure a place for students who hold it. However, entry grades are highly variable.
