Twenty-three medical graduands of Olabisi Onabanjo School of Health and Medical Science were recently inducted into medical profession by the Nigerian medical proffession regulatory body -Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
The induction ceremony which took place at Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Science of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye has in attendance representatives of MDCN, delegate of the Ogun State Government, the University community, families and friends of the graduands and the well wishers.
Performing the induction ceremony was the presentation of the 23 graduands by the Dean of Faculty of Clinical Science, Prof. M B Fetuga and the Provost of Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Science Prof. A O Olatunji for the citation of medical oath which was conducted by the representatives of the MDCN registrar, Dr. Okwuokenye Henry.
Speaking at the event OOU Vice Chancellor, Professor Olatunji congratulate the graduands for their perseverance in the last few years. He then encourage them to continue pressing forward and not to fear the future because the college has adequate prepared them for any challenges they might be confronted.
The Vice Chancellor also congratulated the parents and the guardians of the graduands saying that after all there spending and prayers on the graduands were fruitful.
Other speakers at the occasion was the representative of the Ogun State Governor, the representative of the registrar of MDCN and the provost of the Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
