Pan-Atlantic University Make Two Lagos Business School Officials Professors

Two of the Lagos Business School  (LBS) officials were last week appointed professors by a Lagos State based private higher institution of learning - Pan Atlantic University,

The appointment which was approved  by the University Governing Council was as a result of recommendation of the institution's Appointments and Promotions Committee and surprisingly the two LBS officials were women.

The first person is the present Academic Director of LBS  Olayinka David-West who was appointed Professor of Information System and the second person is the Dean of LBS , Enase Okonedo who was appointed Professors of Management.

Olayinka David-West is an information technology professional.  She lead an information systems class of LBS at MBA and Executive levels. Along with this, she regularly leads research team of the school on topic related to information technology.

David-West also engage in  industry consulting specialising in the area of digital financial services and strategic planning, project and change management, IT personnel selection and host of other services.

She hold a BSc degree in Computer Science and a MSc in Business System Analysis and Design. She has 28 years experience in IT  and she is a member of many professional organizations.

The second  person, Onase Okonedo teaches courses in corporate financial management and financial strategy at Lagos Business School (LBS).

Onase has over 30 year experience specialising in the financial services and management education sector.

She serve on board of many financial management organisations both in Nigeria and abroad. She is also a member of many professional bodies which includes but not limited to Fellow Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (FICAN); Fellow of the Society of Corporate Governance of Nigeria (SCGN) and Fellow International Academy of Management.

Both women were appointed May 21. The appointment was with immediate effect.
