Stellenbosch University Signed Coorperation Agreement with German Environment Agency


The management of Stellenbosch University on Tuesday announced it has signed a coorperation agreement with the Pan-African Parliament and the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt).

The coorperation agreement which the university says was signed on 10th of October 2019 aimed to put into effect the sustainable development goals (SDGs)  of the United Nation 2030 Sustainable Agenda.

The statement from the university stated that the first thing the team will be doing is to tackle the issue of degradation neutrality  (SDG target 15.3)  and the sustainable soil management on the continent

The agreement was signed on behalf of Stellenbosch University through it Development and Rule if Law Programme.
