According to Academic Ranking of the World Universities 2019, it says University of Sydney mechanical engineering course was 3rd best in Australia and among 100 best in the world. Civil engineering was 4th best in Australia but 24th best in the world. QS World Universities Ranking 2019 also says Mechanical Engineering is 3rd best in Australia among 100 best in the world while it's Civil Engineering was the best in Australia while it was 12th best in the world.
