Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Filed for Two Innovations Patent with Federal Ministry of Science and Technology

Since it establishment, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has been at the forefront of technological development of the nation. The evidence was shown recently when the school developed two machines, one useful in the Agro Allied Industry and the second one useful in the Telecommunication Industry.

The two machines are:

• Palm Kernel Oil Processing Machine and 
• Multi Outlet Electronic Mail Box with GSM Alert. It is otherwise called Electronic Pigeonhole.

Already the management of the prestigious polytechnic had filed for and had been granted patent for the two inventions by the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology.

A publication from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, stated that the official presentation of the patent certifiate to them will be done by by Honourable Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology on Tuesday, 28th January, 2020 in Abuja.

The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has consistently been ranked first among the polytechnics in the country in the last few years by Webometric. This is one of the reasons why the polytechnic is the most search for among the polytechnics in Nigeria on the internet.
