By the appointment, Mrs. Balogun a native of Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State becomes the first substantive Registrar of the Oyo State owned university.
The appointment which is for a single tenure of five (5) years comes at a time when the she was on sabbatical leave as the Deputy Registrar/Director office of the Vice Chancellor of the First Technical University.
According to a publication by the management of First Technical University, the appointment is renewable for just one more year subject to the satisfactory performance and approval by the university Governing Council.
The job vacancy for the exalted seat was announced late last year by the FTU management creating an opportunity for different candidates to be interviewed and best among them to be selected.
Until her present appointment, Mrs. Balogun was the Principal Assistant Registrar at the prestigious University of Ibadan heading Senate Unit of the Academic Division of the Registrar.
