Redeemer's University Campus Radio 103.5FM Approved to Start Broadcasting

The broadcast regulatory body in the country, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has approved the take-off of Redeemer’s University Campus Radio, Redeemer's 103.5 FM.

In a letter send to the management of Redeemer's University to announce the approval of the campus FM Radio Station dated 09 December 2019 and was duly signed by the acting secretary to the Commission, Mr. M.M. Sada enjoined the station to adhere to the provisions of section
13.23.1 of the Nigerian Broadcasting code.


At official presentation of the letter of approval by the NBC State Officer Mrs Ayodele Brown, Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) Professor Adebola Adebileje appreciated the commission for  approving the station and pledged  the station would operate according to all the rules and regulations guiding the establishment and operation of an FM Radio Station  as specified by the commission through the offering of educational programmes that would add value to students and stakeholders within its operating environment.

Speaking further, the DVC Redeemer's University stated that the university will use the station for the teaching and research purposes.

Giving a vote of thanks at the event, the Registrar of the University Mr. Olukayode Akindele thanked the commission for the approval and reiterated the desire and commitment of the university to own a television station. He enthused that in no distant future, the university will be expecting the commission to come for the inspection in view of the approval of the Redeemer’s University Television station.
