Below on this page are listed all the art courses the Federal Polytechnic Offa have to offer prospective students from around the country.

The list indicate the art courses which are available at OND and  HND degree level and those that appeared only at OND level or at only HND level.

Only students who did art subjects at secondary school  may apply to do a course. Commercial students may also apply provided they pass the subjects related to course they wish to do at secondary school.

School of Business and Management Studies
  • Accountancy (OND/HND)
  • Banking and Finance (OND/HND)
  • Business Administration (OND/HND)
  • Insurance (OND/HND)
  • Marketing (HND)
School of Communication and Information Technology
  • Mass Communication (OND/HND)
  • Library and Information  Science (OND/HND)
  • Office Technology and Management (OND/HND)
Both OND and HND courses lated a duration of 2 years each with compulsory 1 year industrial training in between. All the courses mentioned above are available to be study as Part Time courses.

While those that completed any of the courses on Full Time may participate on compulsory 1 year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) part time HND graduate are exempted.

Entry Requirements

All the above mentioned courses have same entry requirements.

To be eligible for admission to study one of the courses, a student must show an evidence of completing senior secondary school by presenting credit passes in at least five subjects at one or two of the following examinations:

  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
  • NECO conducted Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or 
  • General Certificate of Examination (GCE)
  • National Business Certificate (NBC)
The Subjects must include:
  • Mthematics (Compulsory)
  • English Language (Compulsory) and
  • Literature in English
  • Government
  • Economics/Commerce
  • Yoruba/ Igbo
  • Home Economics/ Food and Nutrition
  • Civic Education
  • History
The student must make the UTME cut off mark.

UTME Subjects
  • English Language (compulsory)
  • Economics
  • Government or 
  • Yoruba or 
  • Literature in English or
  • Civic Education or
  • Mathematics or
  • Commerce
The student must also pass and make the required cut off mark for Federal Polytechnic, Offa post UTME examination.
