UNILORIN Biomedical Engineering Entry Requirements

UNILORIN biomedical engineering

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) is among the few Nigerian universities where Biomedical Engineering is taught as a programme. And so, the Department of Biomedical Engineering is among the ten (10) department that constitute the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

Biomedical Engineering is an engineering discipline that apply engineering and technology principles with Biological Science to improve the healthcare services and delivery. Being an engineering course the discipline do a lot of design and development of tools, equipment and machine that make the delivery of healthcare services easy, fast, efficient and at minimum cost.

A student who may want to study this course must be good in Engineering and Technology and if course in Biological Science and he must be ready to do a lot of research and must be ready to work with engineers in other field of discipline.

Listed below are the minimum entry requirements accepted by the UNILORIN Department of Biomedical Engineering for it undergraduate degree programme, this include for the Direct entry applicants, the O'level and JAMB's UTME subjects combination.

Entry Requirements for O'level/UTME Applicants
