Polytechnics to Study Biomedical Engineering in Nigeria

Listed on this page are the National Diploma (ND) award institutions where Biomedical Engineering Technology are taught as a programme in Nigeria.  

All of these institutions are government approved. Student who could not make the requirement to study Biomedical Engineering at one of the universities where it is taught in Nigeria could begin his career as Biomedical Engineer by study at one of the institution listed on this page the move on to a university for a degree programme. 

O'level qualifications accepted to study for the National Diploma (ND) Biomedical Engineering is a bit lower than for a degree in it: the JAMB cut off mark for polytechnics is usually lower and hence for each of the School of Biomedical Engineering.

The schools listed here are not called polytechnic but as the school of health sciences. We refers to them as polytechnic because: 

1. They award National Diploma (ND), a traditional qualification award by the polytechnics and 
2.  Because of SEO purpose.
