UMTH Biomedical Engineering Admission Requirements 

School of Biomedical Engineering, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) accept the following: 

Credit passes in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings at O'level: 

  • Mathematics 
  • English Language 
  • Chemistry 
  • Biology 
  • Physics
The five credit passes could be from one or two of these following O'level examination qualifications: 

  • West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 
  • NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) 
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE) O'level and 
  • National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) 

JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

It is also required that students must score the minimum cut mark for the JAMB coordinated UTME. 

Remember the programme award National Diploma (ND) certificate on successful completion of the study.
