Entry Requirement Metallugical and Material Engineering, FUOYE

FUOYE material and mettallurgical engineering entry requirements
There are a lot of metallic elements around us. These metallic elements are very important materials in the engineering industry. Many spare parts use in the manufacturing of motor vehicles, aeroplanes, industrial processing machines,  electrical cables, medical equipments and tools and weapons are made from some of these metallic elements.

Metallurgy Engineering
is the studies of the physical and chemical behaviour of these metallic elements. In a nutshell metallurgy is the science and technology of metals with a purpose to improve their physical and chemical properties and thereby turn them to useful engineering materials.

To study Metallurgical and Material Engineering in FUOYE application must be done either as JAMB'S UTME candidates or DIRECT ENTRY candidates.

UTME Candidates

Students must have minimum of credit passes in five O/L subjects from:
  • WASSCE: West African Senior School Certificate of Examination
  • GCE: General Certificate of Education or
  • SSCE: Senior Secondary Certificate of Examination
at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include:
