Entry Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma
To be eligible for admission to study for a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Engineering programme at FUTA, an applicant must have:
- A first degree (BSc, BTech, BEng) in the relevant engineering disciplines.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant engineering programmes with at least Lower Credit level
Master of Engineering (M. Eng)
To be considered for admission to study for Master of Engineering at FUTA an applicant must have:
- A Bachelors degree (BSc, BTech, BEng) in relevant engineering programmes with at least Second Class Lower Division of The Federal University of Technology, Akure.
- A Bachelors degree from other recognized Universities, in relevant engineering discipline.
- Higher National Diploma in at least Lower Credit level in relevant engineering programmes from recognised higher institution of learning.
- HND holder candidates must also have a Postgraduate Diploma at Upper Credit level in the relevant engineering discipline.
Duration of Each of the Programmes
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (PGD) will last for a duration of between eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) months for full time students, while students that are studying for
Masters Degree Engineering (MEng) Programmes shall also be required to spend between eighteen (18) and twenty-four (24) months.
