Entry Requirements for Energy Engineering Kenyatta University 

The minimum entry requirements listed below are for the holders of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Diploma.

  • Physics - B+

OR    

  • Mathematics - B+

  • Physical Science - B+

Holders of Diploma Qualifications

  • National Diploma and Higher Diploma holders in Engineering from recognized higher institution of learning. 

To be eligible for the award of Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, the student is expected to have taken a minimum of 16 units courses per year and 80 units for the in five (5) years of which 77 are compulsory and three (3) are electives.

Within this period of time students will partake in practical attachment, industrial attachment and final year projects.
