Dorben Polytechnic was established in 1995 by Dr. A. B. Ekwere (the proprietor) a seasoned academic and an erudite scholar with a vision to offer quality education service to equipped students for leadership and thereby helping realise their own vision.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to study for any of the National Diploma (ND) courses an applicant must have five credit passes from relevant ordinary level (O'level) subjects from one of:

  • General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
  • WEst African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or 
  • National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB)
The five credit passes must not be more than at two sittings.

Higher National Diploma (HND): those applying to study for HND must have completed their National Diploma (ND) programme with minimum result of lower credit.
