Very many prospective students are trying to know whether Emory University runs School of Engineering and whether its offers Aerospace Engineering as a programme.

The fact of the matter is that Emory University doesn't teach Aerospace Engineering on it own and doesn't operate School of Engineering nor are there any Engineering Department at the institution. What the school offers is Engineering Science and is at the Physics Department. It is a programme which integrate science, mathematics and physical sciences with arts, humanities and social sciences to solve myriad of social related problems. However,  the programme is an ideal for those planning to pursue a graduate degree in engineering in future.

Aerospace Engineering is not available at Emory University. The institution don't award degree in the programme on it own it is taught at Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT)

Dual Degree Engineering Programme

To earn a degree in Aerospace  Engineering through Emory University, an undergraduate students of the institution must apply to do the Dual Degree Engineering Programme. The programme is jointly develop with the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) and runs for five (5) years or six (6) at maximum. The first three (3) years of it are spend at Emory University doing one of the school liberal arts, sciences or social sciences programme then latter continue to the Georgia Institute of Technology to do Aerospace Engineering.

On completion of Aerospace Engineering, the graduate of the programme is awarded two degree: a BA or BSc for any programmes did at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology for Aerospace Engineering.

For an Emory University undergraduate student to be considered for the programme, the student must fulfil all the prerequisites for the  admission to study for a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
