| Professor Abbey Inspecting The New Set of Medical Equipment |
It has been reveal that the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny, Rivers State recently received yet more state-of-art medical equipment for it's medical center, part of the institution capital project for 2021.
This was made known on Saturday, the 2nd day of October, 2021, by the Rector of the institution, Prof. T. M. Abbey, after inspecting the new set of medical equipment delivered to the Polytechnic.
He stated that with such medical facility in the institution, persons in need of diagnosis of their ailments could visit the medical centre and receive early proper medical examination by qualified experts. This, he said, would reduce the number of people traveling out of the Kingdom for medical tourism because the Polytechnic now has the best equipment that can facilitate the treatment of the ailments so diagnosed.
Professor Abbey expressed satisfaction with the prompt delivery of the equipment and the commitment demonstrated by the contractor adding that Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny's Medical Centre is the best after the NLNG hospital in Bonny Island. He further said that the facility gives Bonny, the staff and students of the institution, the best in terms of healthcare, and expressed his happiness with the management team and staff for the support given to him in attracting such a laudable project to the school medical centre.
