Aerospace Engineering at Australia National University (ANU) and elsewhere is usually highly competitive. It is a programme for highly talented students who are good in Mathematics, in science and who have the ability to deep thinking.

The Aerospace System Engineering that is taught at the School of Engineering College of Engineering and Computer Science at ANU is a specialisations of Engineering degree programme.  

The are two (2) partway for a student to earn a Bachelor degree in Aerospace System Engineering at Australia National University (ANU) 

  1. A student can chose to  enroll for a four (4) year degree programme in Engineering. Or
  2. A four (4) year degree programme in Engineering (Research and Development)

Either way all students are required to do same courses the first and the second year of the programme. The first two years they learn how the engineering disciplines work in relation to one another and in the third years chose a major or a specialisation and this time Aerospace System Engineering.

Same as for Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Research and Development)

ATAR: 85   and  IB: 31

At a minimum, the Australia National University expect all applicants to meet the program-specific academic/non-academic requirements including English language requirements. 

Bachelor of Engineering is highly competitive and so admission to programme is on a competitive basis. Therefore a student may not be guarantee an admission though he meet all entry requirements. 

Aside meeting the minimum entry requirements The Australia National University (ANU) have right to determine whether a student should be granted and admission or not.  

The terms and conditions for admission could be changed without prior notice to students or to the public in general. The institution have right to modify admission requirements and a programme as it deem fit.

Whether Aerospace System Engineering is offer on a full time or part time study mode a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Aerospace System Engineering qualification is awarded to successful students.
