Ballarat is one of the city in Western Australia where campuses of the Federation University are located.
The Federation University have five campuses in Berwick, Brisbane, Gippsland, Wimmera and in Ballarat. The campus in Ballarat is on three locations: Mount Helen, SMB and Camp Street and because of this the the Ballarat Campus parade most number of courses the Federation University offers. Majority of the TAFE courses, engineering courses, allied health, business, criminology and justice, agricultural science, information and technology and more are taught there. Instructions in up to fifty specialised fields are given to more five students on this campus.
The Ballarat campuses combine together boasts up-to-date teaching and research facilities which include but not limited to library, studios and lecture theatres and childcare centre, building and construction training centre, manufacturing technology training centre, computer lab with internet access
