Entry Requirements, Secondary School Leavers

Redeemer's University accept credit passes in five subjects which must not be at more than two sittings including: 

  • Mathematics 
  • English Language
  • Physics 
  • Chemistry and one other science subjects which can be 
  • Technical Drawing 
  • Biology 
  • Further Mathematics  
  • Applied Mathematics 
  • Agriculture Science  or in 
  • Geography and 
  • Economics 

The five subjects must be from one or two of these qualifying examinations: 

  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 
  • NECO/Senior School Certificate of Examinations (SSCE) 
  • General Certificate of Examination (GCE) 

Joint Admission Matriculation Board Examination (JAMBE)  

A secondary school leaver must sit for, pass and make the JAMBE cut off mark.

  • English Language  

Entry Requirements, Direct Entry Applicants 

  • General Certificate of Education Advance Level (GCE A/L): Two (2) 'A' Level passes from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
  • National Diploma (ND): upper credit in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
  • Higher National Diploma (HND): upper or lower credits in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
  • NCE Technical: Redeemer's University accept this qualification
