It was a day that history was made in the university as the first set of registered nurses were inducted with many others among them bagging awards
The Induction ceremony which was held on the the 3rd of February 2023 was the first ever nursing induction ceremony that would be held by the institution having had their first nursing students intake in 2017 and the accreditation of the course was granted in 2021.
Amusan Oreoluwa was present the Best Overall Student award by the Vice Chancellor of the Redeemer's University, Professor Anthony Enisan Akinlo just some minutes after the induction's oath taking which was coordinated by Dr. (Mrs) Dorothy Ore who represented the MNCN registrar had been done.
Some of the highlight of the induction ceremony were the singing of the nursing anthem, special songs by the choir of the Faculty of Basic Medical Science, oath taking and the decoration of the inductees, presentation of the awards and the delivery of the induction keynote address by Dr. Titilayo Adefola
This achievement make Amusan Oreoluwa the first ever best student at the Department of Nursing Science Redeemer's University, Ede.
