For the bachelor degree, Department of Chemical Engineering requires:  

Holders of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)


Average grade C+ 

Cluster subjects:
  • Mathematics – A
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology/any group III/VI/V

Holders of A/Level and Diploma 


A-levels:
  • Passes in Mathematics, Physics and in Chemistry and a credit pass in English at O’level.
Diploma: 
  • Diploma in Technology from a recognized Institution
