2 Person Conferred with Doctorate Degree, 11 Bagged First Class at Godfrey Okoye University's 11th Convocation

The Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu has conferred Doctorate Degrees on two outstanding individuals during their 11th convocation ceremony at the main campus in Ugwuomu, Enugu State. 

The two person were Engineer Kingsley Eze who was conferred with Doctor of Computer Science and Dr. Obi Ozor who was conferred with Doctor of Management.  

Kingsley is an astute entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Tenece Holdings, a company with  group of over five subsidiaries with offices in Lagos, Abuja,  Enugu, Accra, Addis Ababa & Dubai. While Obi Ozo is  the co-founder and the CEO of Kobo360 and the present commissioner of transport Enugu State.  

The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, and Chancellor, Archbishop of Abuja Metropolitan, Most Reverend Dr. Ignatius Ayau Kaigama, bestowed this honour upon them at the convocation that witness the attendance of many dignitaries from far and near. 

Also at the ceremony, 12 graduates achieved first-class honours. The achievement showcased excellence among the 404 participants at the convocation. 

While delivering an address at the convocation  ceremony the Vice Chancellor Professor Anieke stated that the Godfrey Okoye University's main campus at Ugwuomu is now fully functional providing uninterrupted power, telecommunications, and water supplies for the students. 

He added by saying, other exciting developments the campus had witnessed in the past one year to include the digitization of hospital activities and equipping of teaching hospital with modern diagnostic devices.

Professor Anieke note also by saying  the graduates from the institution shine everywhere they gi not only academically but also in national and international competitions. Many have secured admissions to the Nigerian Law School. 

A special praise was now made to the best graduating students when  he said "shoutout to Miss Somtochukwu Obi, the best graduate, and all other outstanding performers who received well-deserved prizes".

The Vice Chancellor rounded up his speech by saying, as the institution move forward, let's embrace hard work, discipline, resilience, and a balanced approach to character and learning.
