The University of Bristol's engineering programmes are high quality. The institution currently offers five fully accredited engineering disciplines, all of which are highly rated globally. Bristol is home to some of the UK's most famous aerospace engineering companies, including Boeing, Airbus, and GKN Aerospace with which the university collaborate with for resourceful research and development, therefore, one of the reasons it's aerospace engineering is ranked second best in UK.

The entry requirements for engineering at the University of Bristol are bit strict, and tuition fees are somewhat higher. This is because the Faculty of Science and Engineering offers programmes that receive applications from aspiring engineers throughout the world for its limited available spaces.

Standard Entry Requirements 

GCE A/level	A*AA - AAB including Mathematics and a science subject in formation of A*A or AA
International Baccalaureate	38 with 18 at Higher Level including 7,6 in Mathematics and a science subject
BTEC 3 Extended	D*DD in Engineering plus A in A/level Mathematics

GCSE and English Language Proficiency

Regardless of the result above, a prospective candidate must also present his sixth form result and the proof of English language proficiency.  

Note: English language is required of every prospective engineeing student but those who it not their first language need to have one of the following below or it equivalent.

GCSE/IGCSE	Credit pass in 5 subjects including at least C4 in Mathematics, Physics and English language.
English language	IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in all skills GCSE English Language grade C or 4

Engineering Tuition Fees, University of Bristol 

• Domestic Students: £9,790 

• International Students: £31,300 

The fees could change anytime without notice, most probably they are liable to rise each year.

Engineering Accreditation, University of Bristol 

The engineering programmes at the University of Manchester are accredited by several professional engineering institutions, operating under the authority of the Engineering Council, UK.

• Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM)

While the entry requirements is dictated by number of the applicants in respect to the available spaces, the tuition fees is influenced by market inflation and the approval from the government. Both at the University of Bristol are subject to change without prior notice.
