Baze University, Abuja Appoints New Visiting Associate Professor

Baze University, Abuja on Tuesday announced Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as the new visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Government and Public Administration, Faculty of Management and Social Science.

The announcement which was posted on the University website revealed that in addition to the above position, Dr Baba-Ahmed will also serve as school Director of Strategic Linkages. The position he expected to use to promote the image of the University internationally and thereby open gates for their graduates to international opportunities.

Until his present appointment Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has held different public and political positions.

He was the Chief of Staff to the immediate past Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki. Also, he was once the Returning Officer to President Mohammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election.

Dr. Hakeem was also the Executive Vice Chairman of Qura Mandate Consulting Nigeria and once Permanent Secretary of The Federal Republic of Nigeria between 1999 and 2009.

He was a lecturer at Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto (1978) and has held the position of Political Security and Cabinet, Office of the Governor, Kaduna State (1987-92)
