A Nigerian Man Becomes First Black Ever Master Degree Graduate Siberia State University


A history has been written again. This time around on a Nigerian man by the name Falade Jean Tolu.

The history was written on the young man from Ibadan when he becomes the first ever black student to graduate with a Master Degree (MSc) programme in Geodesy and Remote Sensing at Siberia University in far away Russia.

Because of this achievement, the elited man who happens to be a product of Kings and Queens College, Ibadan and an alumnus of University of Benin go on the Instagram to share a post and picture of himself to announce his accomplishments when he posted:



Below is the profile of Mr. Falade Jean Tolu - popularly known as foladinho - in brief.

Studied Geodesy and Remote Sensing at Siberia State University of Geosystem and Technology (MSc)

Has a degree in Russian Studies at Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management

He was at University of Benin, Nigeria where he earned a BSc Degree in Science Laboratory Technology/Geology

His pre-tertiary education was done at Kings and Queens College,  Old Ife Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Siberia Federal University Faladino attended in a multidisciplinary university. The school is located on it permanent site in Krasnoyark, Eastern part of Russia. The school was founded in 2006 just thirteen years ago and it boost about 35,000 students from around the world, studying about 120 educational programmes. The World University Ranking: Time Higher Magazine states that the university is 301th best young university under fifty in the world and stand in the bracket 1001+ best university in the world.
