Since the inception of Covenant University has the engineering courses been taught, though one precede another. All the Engineering Departments were carved out of the former College of Science and Technology in 2004/2005 to form College of Engineering.

- Department of Mechanical Engineering: offering courses which lead to award of a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Department of Civil Engineering: offering courses which lead to the award of a degree in Civil Engineering
- Department of Petroleum Engineering: offering courses which lead to award of a degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Department of Chemical Engineering: offering courses that lead to award of a degree in Chemical Engineering and
- Department of Electrical and Information Technology: offering courses which lead to the award of degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
All these Engineering Courses are five years degree programmes.(10 semesters)
Admission Requirements
To qualify to study any of the above mentioned engineering courses, a student must have ordinary level (O/L) credit passes in at least five subjects which must includes Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language and either Further Mathematics or Technical Drawing or Biology.
Covenant University Engineering Courses Tuition Fees
A student will spend a great amount of money to get Covenant University Engineering degree certificate. Each of the courses is five years degree programme and for that five years a student will spend nothing less than N5 million as tuition fee and that is if not review in future. Don't forget, the university is a private school, their academic calendar don't get disrupted due to any form of illegal closure of school either as a result of industrial strike action or student unrest and the fact that the certificate from Covenant University is highly competitive in labour market make the tuition fees worth the price.
