The revelation was made by the coordinator of the Ondo State office of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr Babatunde Bamisaye while on an official visit to the management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) on Monday.
Speaking further, Mr. Babatunde said that JAMB and FUTA have always been a partner in progress especially in moving the tertiary education in Nigeria forward. He then acknowledge the great job the management of the institution is doing in sustaining the good image of the school saying he hoped they keep the flag flying.
The JAMB coordinator while eulogizing the university VIce Chancellor said his meritorious service is widely known and the management style with which he and his team of management is able to bring the school nearer to successful destination is appreciated. He then assured the vice Chancellor that JAMB will always coorperate with the great citadel of learning for the betterment of both institutions.
While responding, the FUTA Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Fuwape thank the JAMB state coordinator for his visit corroborating his speech by saying FUTA and JAMB have been cordial for long. He described the JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishiaq Oloyede as a man of integrity and straightforward saying his great job is worthy of commendation.
The vice chancellor added by saying the success story of tertiary education in Nigeria is tie to the success of JAMB as an institution and he added that the university will always coorperate with them on anything that will bring further development to tertiary education in the country.
