The management of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) last week announced the appointment of Mr. Tunde Kelani who is otherwise known as TK as a Visiting Fellow in the institution Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS).
The announcement through a publication which was made available to the public stated that the veteran filmmaker on resumption will engage in teaching and coordinating courses designed to impart entrepreneural knowledges and skills into the students of the university in the area of film making.
Alagba Tunde Kelani as he is was also called was trained in the art of filmmaking and production at London International Film School.
His Mainframe (Opomulero) Film and Television Production was founded in 1991. They have since produced various films many of which has earned several awards which propelled them into national and international limelight. Some of these films include but not limited to Ti Oluwa Ni Ile, Thunder Bolt, Campus Queen, Narrow Path, Saworoide, Yeepa, Arugba and The Jewel.
Tunde Kelani, a filmmaker, director, cinematographer, photographer and producer, in 2016 started Mainframe Film and Media Institute (MFMI). A school with the purpose to train young people from anywhere in the country the art of film making and cinematography.
It should be recalled that Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), some years back established Department of Entrepreneurship Studies with aims to develop innovative and creative mind in students thereby improving their entrepreneural personalities to perform the leadership responsibilities in industry, government and non government organisations. To achieve these, FUNAAB engage professionals and highly successful entrepreneurs in their fields in teaching students of the institution on how to make headlong in the business world.
