Entry Requirements for Engineering Courses (OND)

All the above mentioned courses have same entry requirements.

To be eligible for admission to study one of these courses, a student must show an evidence of completing senior secondary school by presenting credit passes in at least five subjects at one or two of the following examinations:

• West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
• NECO conducted Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or 
• General Certificate of Examination (GCE) and
• National Technical Certificate (NTC)

The Subjects must include:

• Mathematics (Compulsory)
• English Language (Compulsory)
• Physics
• Chemistry or
• Technical Drawing or
• Further Mathematical or
• Technical and Vocational Training Subjects or 
• Geography or
• Data Processing

The student must pass and make the UTME cut off mark.

UTME Subjects

• English Language (Compulsory)
• Mathematics (Compulsory)
• Physic and
• Chemistry

The student must also pass and make the required cut off mark for Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo post UTME examination
