Entry Requirements (OND)
All the above mentioned courses have same entry requirements. Except on some special occasions.
To be eligible for admission to study one of the courses, a student must show an evidence of completing senior secondary school by presenting credit passes in at least five subjects at one or two of the following examinations:
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- NECO conducted Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or
- General Certificate of Examination (GCE)
- National Business Certificate (NBC)
- Mthematics (Compulsory)
- English Language (Compulsory) and
- Literature in English
- Government
- Economics/Commerce
- Yoruba/ Igbo
- Home Economics/ Food and Nutrition
- Civic Education
- History
The student must make the UTME cut off mark.
UTME Subjects
- English Language (compulsory)
- Economics
- Government or
- Yoruba or
- Literature in English or
- Civic Education or
- Mathematics or
- Commerce
The student must also pass and make the required cut off mark for Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo post UTME examination.
