This also means all new programmes started by Chrisland University some months ago have also been given full verification and certification and this pave the way for the establishment of institution College of Basic Medical Sciences.
A letter sent to Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Professor Chinedum Babalola by National University Commission (NUC( and duly signed by Dr. A. B Saliu, the Commission Director of Academic Planning on behalf of the Executive Secretary to this effect read in part thus:
I am directed to inform the Vice Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the full time mode of the following undergraduate programmes, to be run in the main campus of the university with effect from the 2019/2020 academic session
- Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
- Physiotherapy (D)
- Anatomy (BSc) and
- Physiology (BSc)
I am to add that the approval does not cover the part time mode of delivery of the programmes. All the programmes shall bear only the approved titles and nomenclatures and any changes will required the approval of the Commission. The university is enjoined to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved pogrammes.

- Software Engineering (BSc)
- Cyber Security (BSc)
- Biotechnology (BSc)
- Statistics (BSc)
- Industrial Mathematics (BSc) and
