As a matter of fact and without beating around the bush, there is no private polytechnics in Katsina State but the state boost private universities apart from the ones owned by the government. It seem the private education investors have more interest in investing in universities education than polytechnic in the state.

Government Polytechnic
Katsina State has just only one go polytechnic and it is the state government owned.
The Polytechnic is Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic. The school was established in 1983. The date when the school was established shows that it was formerly in the old Kaduna State, because Katsina state was not in existence in 1983 the state was formed in 1987.
Hassan Usman Rimi was the Governor of Kaduna State at the time the polytechnic was established. The polytechnic goes with Katsina State when carved out of old Kaduna. Until today, that is the only polytechnic Katsina State paraded at least as at the time this article was being put together.
