At the Faculty of Engineering, LASU there are three departments and each department teaches postgraduate master degree programmes (MSc and MPhil).
Listed below are the taught MSc and MPhil Engineering programmes and the minimum entry requirements.
Chemical and Polymer Engineering:
MSc Degree:Entry Requirements: BSc/BEng/BTech Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical and Polymer Engineering. Minimum of 2nd Class Lower.
Duration: 4 Semesters
MPhil Degree Entry Requirements: MSc in Chemical or Chemical and Polymer Engineering. Minimum CGPA 3.50.
Duration of Study: 4 Semesters
Electronic and Computer Engineering
MSc Degree Entry RequirementsS BSc in Physic/Mathematic or Electronic PLUS PGD in Electronic and Computer Science or BSc in Electronic and Computer Science.Minimum : 2nd Class Lower
Duration of Study: 3 Semesters (FT) and 4 Semesters (PT)
MPhil Degree Entry Requirement:
MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering. Minimum of CGPA 3.50
Duration of Study: 4 Semesters (Full Time); 6 Semesters (Part Time)
Mechanical Engineering
MSc Degree Entry Requirements: BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical or related engineering programmes.
Minimum: 2nd.Class Lower
Duration of Study: 4 Semesters (Full Time)
MPhil Degree Entry Requirements: MSc Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of CGPA 3.50
Duration of Study: 6 Semesters
