Electrical Electronic Engineering Requirements | Machakos University

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Machakos University is one of the top for research and innovation in Kenya.

This programme will teach students in power generation, how electrical components work, the electrical instillation and circuit board design and development among many others.

Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Minimum Requirements

The listed minimum entry requirements are for the holders of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and for the Holder of Diploma 


  • KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) minimum of B+(Plus) or equivalent in Mathematics and Physics and B(Plain) in Chemistry and English   

OR

  • KCSE Mean Grade of C (Plain) or equivalent with a Diploma of Credit pass in relevant field of study from a recognized institution.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Machakos University is duly accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) and the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
