Entry Requirements
For an applicant to be eligible for an admission to study any of the Master Degree Engineering programme at Bayero University, Kano he must have earned his first degree which can be either BSc, BEng or BTech in relevant engineering programme.
The applicant must also show an evident of participation in the one year mandatory NYSC programme or evidence of exemption as the case may be.
First Class and Second Class Upper division or at least Second Class Lower Division with CGPA not below 2.75 on a scale of 0.00-5.00 will be considered for an admission to study any of the above engineering programmes.
Holders of Post Graduate Diploma with minimum CGPA of 3.00 in relevant engineering programme from Bayero University, Kano will be considered for admission while an applicant from another government approved universities but with minimum CGPA of 3.50 will also be considered for an admission.
In some special occasion an applicant with 3rd Class Honour in relevant engineering programme will be considered for admission. Special conditions are attached to a situation like this. Plus all the above, Bayero University other matriculation requirements like O/L results and the outcome of written entrance exam will be taken into consideration before an applicant could be offer a provisional admission.
