UG Offers Another Chance To Students Who are Yet to Graduate Since 2001

The management of the University of Ghana (UG) announced on Wednesday that it has offered another chance to some of it undergraduate students who have not been able to graduate since 2000/2001  academic session.

The set of students the "another chance" offer covers are those that supposed to have graduated since 2001 but still remain part of the member of the undergraduate students of the school due to failed courses.

According to a statement sign by the Academic Affairs Director of the institution which was make available to the public, the opportunity which was tagged "amnesty" will be for a period of three years and that is 2021/22 through 2023/24.

The management of the University of Ghana (UG) expect the affected students to resit for and pass all the failed courses so that they can be graduated from the school. 

The statement read in part thus: "This dispensation is an opportunity for all affected students to satisfy the necessary requirements to enable them to graduate".

The statement make it clear that all the affected students will have a maximum of two years from their first registration to re-sit and pass as many courses as they choose.
