Electrical Engineering and Entry Requirements: Landmark University

Landmark University Electrical Electronic Engineering admission requirements
The programme is Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It is taught to graduate students with skills in the designing and development of machines and devices that operate on electromagnetism, electricity and electronic.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Landmark University is a five (5) years programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 

Admission Requirements

Landmark University granted students admission to study for a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering through these two paths:

  • Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and 
  • Direct Entry

Candidates who are seeking admission through UTME must have sat for and have five credit passes in relevant O'level subjects. The subjects must include:

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • English Language 
  • Chemistry and one of
  • Further Mathematics
  • Technical Drawing
  • Biology
The five credit passes must not be at more than two sittings from one or two of the following examinations
  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
  • Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) 
  • General Certificate of Education or
  • National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB)  

JAMB/UTME

Candidates must also write JAMB"s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and make the required cut off mark.

  • Chemistry

Landmark University Post UTME

Successful Candidates in JAMB/UTME must participate in Landmark University coordinated post UTME screening, making pass mark for the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Note: Landmark University allow students who haven't choosen the school as their first choice to apply for admission.

Direct Entry Admission 

The following qualifications may be considered for admission through Direct Entry application to 200 or 300 level of the programme.

National Diploma (ND) in relevant engineering programme to 200 level.

GCE Advance Level (A/L): good pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 200 level.

Higher National Diploma (HND): in relevant engineering programme to 300 level.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Landmark University is fully accredited by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
