Calvary Polytechnic Accreditation, Courses Entry Requirements

Calvary Polytechnic is a private  higher educational institution located in Owa-oyibu, Ika North East, Delta State, Nigeria.

The instituction was established with the aim to train Nigerian students and make them highly skill in their various chosen discipline, helping them to becoming responsible in the society within which thy live.

Calvary Polytechnic make part of the five existing polytechnics Delta State.

Accreditation Status

Calvary Polytechnic is duly registered in  Nigeria by the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and so the polytehnic is not one of the higher institutions of learning which are operating illegally.

After been registered by the FME, Calvary Polytechnic was also accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The school was duly accredited in 2016 some years after incorporated.

What This Mean Are:

A graduate from the school, is eligible to participate in the recommended one (1) years NYSC programme.

He/She can apply to further education at other higher institutions of learning in Nigeria or abroad using a qualifications from the school.

A graduate of the school can get a desire job in Nigeria or elsewhere using a qualification from the school.

 Entry Requirements

Minimum entry requirements to study any of the courses above is five (5) credit pass in five subjects relevant to the course a student apply to do.

The five credit passes which must include English Language must not be at more than two sitting from one or two of :
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
  • West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE)
Note: Mathematics is compulsory for.those applying to do engineering related courses.

Holder of the underlisted qualifications may also be considered for admission.
  • National Technical Certificate 
  • National Business Certificate
  • ND preliminary results

JAMB's Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination

Applicants must also participate in the JAMB coordinated UTME and Calvary Polytechnic coordinated post-JAMB screening.
