Wolex Polytechnic was established in 1999 by Engr. Festus Oluwole Adepoju with aim to support the effort of the Federal Government of Nigeria in providing inexpensive and quality education in the area of science and technology, commerce , management an applied sciences to all prospective students in Nigeria.
Wolex Polytechnic Accreditation Status
Wolex Polytechnic is not an illegally operated institutions by any means. The institution, having been established in 1999, have it formally registered in Nigeria in year 2000 by the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) with certificate No. FME/NBTEPP/00/02.

What This Mean To Students
A graduate from the school, is eligible to participate in the recommended one (1) years NYSC programme.
He/She can apply to further education at other higher institutions of learning in Nigeria or abroad using a qualifications from the school.
A graduate of the school can get a desire job in Nigeria or elsewhere using a qualification from the school.

Entry Requirements
Minimum entry requirements to study any of the courses above is five (5) credit pass in five subjects relevant to the course a student apply to do.
The five credit passes which must include English Language must not be at more than two sitting from one or two of :- General Certificate of Education (GCE)
- Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
- West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE)
Note: Mathematics is compulsory for.those applying to do engineering related courses.
