Civil Engineering is an engineering discipline that study, design, build and maintain our infrastructures which include but not limited to road, railway network, buildings, dam, drainage system, bridges. It do this in a cost effective way and as to make our society and cities beautiful, conducive for living and save.
Listed below is the minimum entry requirements to study for a BScEng at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Built and Environment.
Admission Requirements: Holder of NSC.
- Faculty Point Score (FPS): 500
- Mathematics: 80% (Minimum)
- Physical Science:75% (Minimum)
Faculty Point Score (FPS) being the percentage (%) of Mathematic plus percentage (%) of Physical Science plus percentage (%) of English plus percentage (%) of three other best matric subjects excluding Life Orientation:

The overall score is out of 600. Each subjects equal to 100.
