MAI Hosts Vietnam Minister of Education and Training of Personnel

The Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) on Wednesday host in a meeting, a delegate from the Vietnamese educational institutions led by the Vietnam's Minister for Education and Training of Personnel, Nguyen Kim Son.

The meeting with the management of the Moscow Aviation Institute led by Mikhail Pogosyan, the Rector of the institution is part of the two days state visit of Nguyen Kim Son to Russian Federation. 

During the meeting the Nguyen Kim Son expressed his desire for cordial relationship in form of join training, research and students exchange programmes between MAI and it's Vietnamese partners, suggesting that Moscow Aviation Institute could go as far as establishing a branch in his country.  

More discussion were made in the area of existing joint projects between MAI and Vietnamese partners and in the new areas where opportunities exist for development. 

While responding to Nguyen Kim Son suggestion and request, Mikhail Pogosyan the Rector of the institution which serve as a host to as many as 115 Vietnamese students in Russia said he will work toward the realisation of the Minister  suggestion and request by meeting with the necessary Russian Federation agencies.

Prior to meeting with the management of Moscow Aviation Institute, Nguyen Kim Son had met with the high rank representatives of the Russian Federation educational sector led by Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Nikolayevich Falkov, calling for a cordial bilateral education cooperation between the two countries and for the debt settlement, to allow for more of the Vietnamese students to be send to Russia to advance their education.
