Cost of Study an Engineering in Canada

Studying an engineering programme at one of the universities in Canada is usually challenging, especially for international students. Aside the rigorous classroom instruction and field works, they have to pay more than their resident peers to get a degree in their chosen field of studies.

In Canada, just like elsewhere, cost of studying an engineering is usually higher than non-engineering programmes.  Only medical science sometimes cost more and the cost to study all types of engineering (mechanical, aerospace, biomedical, civil, electrical, chemical, computer, nuclear and others) are always the same.

This page is not meant to give students the accurate figure of tution or cost to study an engineering programme in Canada but the factors that are taken into consideration when calculating it. Nobody or website is abble to give the accurate figure because  the tution and all other expenses that form the cost of studying engineering regularly change per semester/academic session without notice and figures for each of the factors that dictate the cost are not the same at all universities.
